All Med Medical and Rehabilitation at the South Bronx Medical Complex 

All Med Medical and Rehabilitation is dedicated to excellence in the delivery of specialized health care to the people who need it the most, the residents of the South Bronx. No expense was spared in creating this 24,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary facility.  The complex offers the most comprehensive rehabilitation, primary care and specialty care in the state of New York.  The concept in building this medical complex was simple -- Only the best will do, the best equipment, the best facility, the best staffing, and the best doctors. 

All Med Medical and Rehabilitation-Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Physical therapy is the core of our rehabilitation program and is staffed and supervised by licensed physical therapists and occupational therapists.  Our facility consists of 20 treatment areas in which the patients receive therapy from our therapists utilizing the latest equipment for: 

Ø      Exercise and reconditioning.

Ø      Heat and paraffin therapy.

Ø      Electrode therapy.

Ø      Massage therapy.

Ø      Ultrasound and iontophoresis.

 In addition, a board-certified physician is on staff to supervise the entire rehabilitation team, as well as to provide direct care treatment and necessary evaluations including EMGs and SSEPs.  Acupuncture will also be provided in our therapy department.  The rehabilitation gym is equipped with over 35 pieces of exercise equipment and provides the most comprehensive facility available.  This area is also equipped with the latest equipment.  Our rehabilitation-specific equipment allows the medical staff to design a highly specialized program of rehabilitation for each patient.

 Osteoporosis is a silent disease that affects millions of Americans.  The first indicator of this disease process is frequently a fracture.  Osteoporotic fractures can cause pain and later disfigurement, disability, and loss of independence and even death.

 All Med Medical and Rehabilitation recognizes that osteoporosis is an under-treated condition.  We offer access to state-of-the-art diagnostics with bone densitometry, which is the gold standard for diagnosing this condition.  Our physicians are experts in the interpretation of study results and the treatment of osteoporosis.  We offer the latest in the medical management of this disease.
