Gabriel L. Dassa, DO - Medical Director, Board Certified Orthopedic and Hand Surgeon

Dr. Gabriel Dassa received his medical training in orthopedic surgery from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, and specialty training in hand surgery from New York University Medical Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases.  He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is a qualified hand surgeon.  In addition to being a published author and lecturer, he is an associate clinical professor at New York Medical College.  Dr. Dassa has also participated in the treatment of sports figures, such as Patrick Ewing of the New York Knicks and Bobby Bonnier of the Florida Marlins.  Dr. Dassa is an expert in treating osteoporosis, degenerative and traumatic conditions of the hand and wrist, orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity, and general orthopedics.

Thomas G. O'Brien, MS, DO - Internal Medicine

Dr. O’Brien has completed his medical training in family practice at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.  Dr. O’Brien possesses extensive experience in treating acute and chronic pain with a variety of therapies, such as trigger-point injections and osteopathic manual medicine.  Dr. O’Brien is board certified in his area of expertise and was a team physician for several school districts in Long Island.  Dr. O’Brien served as the director for physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as a primary care physician for multiple practices in the Bronx.  He is well known to have developed a clinic treating acute chronic pain with various modalities.  Dr. O’Brien had coordinated the care for FDNY, NYPD, NYC-EMS, and PAPD at “ground hero.”  For this, he received an award from the President of the United States, George W. Bush, Jr.
